Contextual Technologies, Inc. (“Contextual,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is strongly committed to protecting and respecting your privacy rights. This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which Contextual collects and uses information from visitors to our websites (including contextual.com and subdomains), subscribers to our communications, and users of our applications, services, and related offerings (collectively, the “Service”).

1. Scope & Roles
This Privacy Policy applies when Contextual acts as a Data Controller of your information.
However, this Privacy Policy does not cover information that Contextual processes about end users of our business customers (“Customer Users”) on behalf of those customers. In those cases, Contextual acts as a Data Processor/Service Provider under the instructions of our customers, pursuant to a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
If you are a Customer User and have questions about how your information is handled, please contact the business that provided your data to Contextual.

Registration details (name, email, phone number, username, password, time zone).
Payment and billing information.
Information submitted at events, conferences, or through customer support.
Account credentials to authenticate data sources (e.g., analytics or ad platforms).
Business relationship details (vendor, partner, or client contacts).
Financial account information: when you choose to link a bank account through our payment partners (e.g. Stripe Financial Connections), we may collect tokenized account details, ownership information and balance information. This information is solely used for account verification, fraud prevention and the settlement of transactions related to our services.
Automatically Collected Information
Log data (IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, search terms, ads clicked).
Device and usage data (pages visited, features used, timestamps).
Cookies, pixels, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies.
Email engagement data (e.g., open/click rates).
Inferred & Combined Data
We may generate or receive inferred data, such as demographic profiles (e.g., income level, interests) or combine data from multiple sources (online and offline) to improve marketing and analytics.
